One more photo from Verliga, the sources of Acheloos (also known as «Aspropotamos») river, at 2000 m altitude, in the heart of Pindus (or «Pindos») mountain range, the «spine» of Greece. So remote, difficult to reach, but one of the most beautiful landscapes I have ever seen, even this time of year (end of summer) when the water is so little. It’s here, where the ancient «River-God» starts its long journey. Trully a «must-see» , but most important a «must-feel» for the lovers of the Greek mountains.
